Hogspot Events has been on break (and sort of still is) but events and festivals will start to populate here slowly. Feel free to reach out with events and suggestions.



Looking for something to do but on a budget? Toronto has lots of free and affordable ways to keep out there and entertained. Here are a few. Festivals and exhibits up front, followed by activities listed by date. Free events are noted, and where possible, those with price tags attached include some indication of the cost. I won't be posting big ticket events unless I can find some deal to attach to them. I also won't post events that are sold out at the time of posting, or that have limited space and require pre-registration.

  • Andrew Peller Sparkling Tasting Event. Complimentary elevated tasting event featuring two unique expressions of sparkling wine: Trius Méthode Cuvé Close and Honest Lot Sparkling. With food pairings thoughtfully designed to highlight each sparkling wine’s unique character. LCBO, Dundas & Bloor. 11:30 am to 3:30 pm.
  • Cabbagetown Pumpkin Walk. Bring your pumpkin or just come to view the pumpkins arrayed along the park paths. Riverdale Park West, Carleton & Sumach. 6 - 8 pm. Free but there will be collection bins on site for non-perishable food items.
